EGO

Ego is the part of us, (human beings), that has a desire to receive. Our Lord and Creator Jesus Christ, created us to be like Him in His image (a mental representation; idea; conception), and His likeness (a representation, picture, or image)! An example of this would be “Hey, wait a minute, I know you!”

We are in full power to control and to choose whatever we decide. When He created us he created us higher than the Angels, in that we have a choice. The ego which I am referring to is the power to decide in the receiving of what the Creator has for us, to receive for self alone or to receive for the benefit of sharing with and for others. This is also nourishment for the soul.

We have the power and the ability to receive anything we desire from God and he says so in John 14:14…read it, please! In fact read all of John 14, better yet read all of John!

I must digress by making things a bit more clear. This is not a blanket all inclusive promise to everyone. There is a pre requisite, which is the belief that God exists in your mind, in your soul, in the depth of your heart and that you have received the Gift of your belief in Him.

The ego and the soul are at odds with one another, and please let us be clear God did create us this way. Not for His amusement (although I believe that is part of it), but he did create us for His pleasure. I think the free choice is awesome and I’m sure He does as well at least this is why my wife and soul mate have three boys. We enjoy and experience true joy in regard to these three gifts. It is in the relationship that we grow, we experience one another in the challenge of being human, fragile, sensitive, self centered and selfish. Yet we also grow in love, sacrifice, sharing, accepting, receiving and giving! Or we would have bought three robots!

If we take the time to comprehend the Creator, His Spirit, His very existence is the possessor of this Ego as well. His Ego is sovereign and it is pure clean and filled with total content with what He is and has, as is His Soul! These two components are not at odds with one another at all in fact quite the contrary is true, and rather synergistically whole and under absolute control. This is a bit concerning to me as well as a relief, for it is because of these two components that I would have done and continue to do the exact same thing as Adam and Eve.

It is because of this that I have chosen to counsel others with my gift of counseling. The truth is that it is better to receive for self with the intent to share with others. To grasp, to share and to believe the Love of my God, my Savior and Lord Jesus Christ who is above as He is below!

The most important belief system you can build is a prosperity consciousness where you absolutely believe that you are going achieve your financial goals. We call this positive knowing versus positive thinking. Positive thinking can sometimes be wishing or hoping. But positive knowing is when you absolutely know that no matter what, you will be successful.
